    Just not imported...

PI was very good , though not without a few problems between my brother and I - 2 1/2 engines trashed (2 were fuel flow problem we think and one was a radical jetting change that didn't quite work...) and one high speed crash! We both did best ever laps too. 1.59.2 for Kerry and 2.01.9 for me. we both some pretty good results - ranging from 2nd to 8th in class. I think I had 8th, 6th 6th, 4th and Kerry had some 2nd's and other top 1/2 doz finishes.

Today I bought a 100/90/18 front and a 110/90/18 rear for the Ambo.
    Tyres were Bridgestone Spitfires.
BT45's are only avaliable in a run out sale on the rear- the front is no longer avaliable.

Front tyre was $149 and the rear was $169 fitted and balanced- I got them to balance the rear as well

So very good price. Max swears at them, he swears at a lot of things though..
I thought there would be a reaction fitting a Spitfire to a Messerschmitt, being Bridgestone they would probably be alright for a Zero, we will see in a few months how good they go on a wop machine.
Now I can build a rolling frame

So are BT45 being discontinued? and Spitfires are the replacement?

Spitfires have been available for years. Their code is S16 from memory.

Mike at Drury Tires reckons the Spitfire previously gave excellent mileage but used to slip when overcast. Didn't even need rain. Since Bridgestone transferred the dual compound technology to the Spitfire tread pattern, they've become a very good all-rounder. I've been running a BT45 on the front and an S16 on the back of my bike, and the result has been very, very good IMHO.

Euroted have recently linked up with W White, I hope they haven't discontinued them as they were very good on old school bikes
