    Nice R1 that, but not as good as an on fire XV! Oil of the century coming to NZ soon.Seriously the highest spec'ed oil for cars/bikes/machinery has arrived here at last.

    Use any oil and do regular oil and filter changes and anything much will go forever, I don't think I've ever had a lubrication based failure on anything I've owned

    but how about excessive wear ? That's hard to know, isn't it? That's what I'm worried about...

    funny but when the yammy workshop removed the crank from the case for me they said it was in good condition..I asked how they knew that and they said the colour.........it wasn't stained so it must have had regular oil changes....
