My brother built his streettracker years ago, there is no WoF in Canada so he's ridden it like that for a long time. Then some cop stops him and says she can't read his plate - so now it does need an inspection, and it's a pretty tough one. He had a big list to do,a lot of original stuff had to go back on,and he didn't have it. I can't see much difference in the bike apart from a front guard. Anyway,he has to take it across the city on a trailer for inspection, but finds a local guy to do it,he says no problem and turns up on this to kick the tyres and give him a pass.

He's been ridding it for years and never been stopped. Here's my brothers tracker back on the road again.

These are his two bikes,he's been riding them on alternate days for comparison. The '77 has an engine he built with cam and pistons he bought from Shell Thuet who used to make the bikes that Kenny Roberts and Eddy Lawson rode.

I like the style of both those bikes, and I'm finding difficult to figure out why. I suppose they both just look *right*.

Buy a bike as a box of parts and wonder ''What the hell can I do with this?'' The '77 wire spoke started out as an engine only build, but then he decided to make a bike to put it in. He had trouble deciding which direction to go with it,not another tracker, but didn't want to do a cafe either, and stock is out of the question. I think they look pretty good too. He finds them both very different to ride.
