    To come on my site you need all the PPE, Safe Work Method Statements, Work Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Site Induction, Contractors Induction, Site Safe Card, Copy of your companies H and S policy, all electric tools tagged and tested, sign in , sign out.....I think thats about it.........so the days of the 5 minute job are gone.

    You forgot the disposal of dangerous goods procedure............. now don't tell that oil changes are covered in your Risk Assessment procedures.

    Oil disposal has to go to an approved recycling or destruction destination, which is first inspected by the customer, and all the associated documentation......mind you we are talking a 400 litre oil change per machine.

    You are lucky. Part of my brief is to dispose of nuclear waste from time to time. This is usually Am 241 and they won't now take it in NZ and the overseas freight companies have toughened up. It can sit in the workshop irradiating the bikes. One the best disposal methods is to pack it into socks. These are placed in the wash and simply disappear as socks invariably do in washing machines. Problem solved. Dodgy's old adhesive thickness source is going to come up some time.....

    of course the fluro and glasses etc make us safer 75% safer....which is why we all wear it at home, where all the accidents really happen...aye?..........
