I found my old LP's today, showed my kids the big black CD's and had a thought, lets convert them to digital. So a turntable was produced out of the cave (my shed), a bit of soldering of leads together and plugged into the back of the PC. I have had the pleasure this afternoon of listening to and transferring to my PC Pink Floyd, Dark side of the moon, The best of Sweet, and am doing The Angels greatest as I type this. My kids tell me I could just download all this music if I wanted to, but I like the thought of recycling the LP's I already own.Plus if I down load it I wouldn't get all the hisses and crackles of a real record!!!
