Ah....DHL....been there, done that. I ordered some parts from the USA and expected them to arrive within a couple of weeks as usual...but nothing. I sent email after email to the supplier with no reply apart from a confirmation of shipping. I thought I had lost my parts, but 4 months later I get a stern ''YOU BETTER'' note from DHL - they have my parcel, and no one has been in to pick them up,if I don't pick them up within 4 days they will be returned to sender and I will have to pay the freight. I get down to DHL,and my parts aren't there, they are in Wellington! I didn't know there was a Mt Roskill in Wellington to get confused with. 2 weeks later my parts turn up at Penrose, and I am told again I better pick them up or else. Makes me not a big spender off shore.

FedEx and UPS are much better. If you are going to be importing a lot of stuff, you can get an account with Customs. This makes things so much easier because it comes straight through.
