http://www.untamedvelocity.com/Barbermuseumtour.htm all i can say is i want a collection like this,
that is where all our old bikes will end up....unless mrs volpair steps up to the scone oven...
The Hailwood Ducati shown has #14 on it and the one in the factory is #12. Did Mike ride more than one of these? are the MRH's actually MHRR's.... Mrs Vintaire said in no uncertain terms she is not interested performing her wifely duties in the Scone and Back-Up-Vehicle dept..... When you dirve over the Newmarket Viaduct Northbound look over to the Carlton Bowling Club.....now standing like an old castle....falling apart.... Thats the future of clubs in NZ.....unless you vote Labour....sorry had the Geoff van blasting propaganda up and down our street....at least Mr Whippy sells ice creams.
The Hailwood ducati blew its engine as it crossed the finish line on that memorable day in motorcycling history. The Duke factory put in a new one, casting the old aside. But some clever sod got hold of the old engine and re-framed it, creating two MH winning Ducatis .... or did he? Please discuss.
I just googled http://www.google.co.nz/search?hl=en...og&sa=N&tab=wi and you can see there is a 12 and a 14........Sports Motorcycles must have built two.....or 14..... I think the one build around the motor was later put up for sale.....then there was heated discussion and it was taken apart.....
