Awesome stuff John, You will be hanging out to get to Mt Welly and get racing the FXR. Just watching the Twist of the wrist DVD shaved seconds off my LC's lap times CSS is on the list for Tyler at some stage, and definantly before the North Island National rrounds when he maybe racing a RS125 as well as his KR150. We went to a Vic club tarack day at Manfeild yesterday, he had a ride on my TZR250. We have another job to do now, build up the 1988 TZR and junk all the road stuff and different pipes and rear sets
I read about Tylers efforts on the other forum the other day, very impressive. I did a race on the FXR 150.....well it was a race ....just I had my 'going out' leathers on and just circulated at the back. Got some new/used ones now so might put in some effort. It worth doing the Superbike School even if you have no interest in racing or track days, its just fun to find out what you and bike can do with a bit on input from experts. One of my bucket list things ( if indeed I have a bucket list) is to run a classic bike around Puke at the Classics Festival.....watch this space.....so far the 'build application" has been approved as suitable for pre 1976.
yeah it is still on my bucket list...just need a one peice or zip together suit.....which i should get soon.....I was sort of hopefull i could get a second hand one peice......
I picked up some two piece Alpine Starts in about 8/10 condition for $290.00 on TM and they fit well...even had the zip out lining and an application for the dole in the pocket....I might pass that on to Dodgy.... come along to the December Buckets and take the FXR for a spin....
yeah i have been looking at them on TM.....either a one peice or i will buy a new two peice since some people think the tan doesn't suit the new bike.....
I dunno...the Yamaha colours are ok...

My $290 TM leathers come " pre worn"..... I'm in the Zone trying to remember all the stuff they said....off the seat....dropped elboes..... weight up the front and down... shoulder down.....rising throttle....looking past the corner......
Are you bringing tyre warmers on the Coro loop ?
