    Egad - the hardship and deprivation. The power went out here (as well as some place called Orkland) about 12.30. Our water pump depends on power and as it is stinking hot here, dehydration soon set in.

    Luckily, there was a nice bottle of wine in the fridge, so I had to spend three hours drinking it and reading magazines in the shade. Woe is me...

    Blame Motu...he's in Huntly. Here in the engine room of the country known as Auckland....the lights barely flickered....You could have cuddled up to a Tui's worker: Yeah right.
