Throughly Modern Millie Analogue seems so old school Thats not very BFTP.... I like digital tool displays but digital car or bike instruments.....yeech.... The good thing about Analog is you get a visual range ....not just a number...thats my 1.999998 cents worth.
Analogue seems so old school but it appears they are more accurate unless you have them calibrated they are only as accurate as the monkey building them at the factory makes them, our guages at work get used dozens of times per day, we have them calibrated once a year and normally they're within 1-2 pound Nicest/best digital guage I have seen was made by Michelin
yeah I have been looking at the Michelin ones......again they have both digital and analogue......and don't give that "not very BFTP" shit..the world has moved on, restoring an old bike doesn't mean you have to use the tools from that era.....otherwise we would all need long hair again..
I would go digital if I wanted compact and wanted to carry it in my kit, analog with big dial and bleed off valve for the workshop
I have low and high pressure Acugauges - cheap, accurate, easy to read and use...and look very cool and BFTP
Over last couple of weeks I've got - Chain rivetter to do drive and cam chains. Carb balancer gauges. Die grinder. Got new set of tyre levers on order.
