All went almost according to plan. Certainly a far more enjoyable track than Puke. On the warm up lap for the last race, the rear went real loose on turn 9, formed up on the grid & had a quick look to see if oil was on the tyre, looked OK. Flag dropped but the bike was going nowhere fast, tyre dead flat . Have not checked out the problem yet. All in all, mission accomplished , prior to Puke I had never had a crack on the track , I went with no expectations . Both the bike & I survived 2 meetings more or less intact, both have huge room for progress. Met plenty of new people , all really nice & huge thanks to all those who helped at one stage or another , no doubt I will continue to try your patience with dopey questions. Bike comes to bits now to fit a belt primary drive & sort oil & air leaks Roll on Taupo .
Mein Gott . Vast ist happenink. Vinston is leadink., Sorry Volty , could not resist. I would have posted sooner but I have been busy deleting the ones Bec took with you in front.
Verdammit Englanders mit their smoke screen..looks like turned in too early too...
Kept trying to turn in at the outer corner of that break in the tarseal , not always successfully . Gotta get way more consistent.
heres the linky to the times,http://www.marktime.co.nz/results.html The turning in comment was note to self.....your light Englander bikes can turn on a fennig....
Im so glad you guys had heaps of fun over the last teo weekends
Sounds like a bloke should saddle up the TRI racing bike and come for a gander, been around Hampton on her before, that was "before she got reborn" Will come to do the support thingy for the Volty and other BFTP types first.
