NZ seems to only get the NTX model, pricier, small fuel tank and higher seat ? Yes ?
..as if owning a Guzzi was not enough of an adventure already......its about 40 years too new for you Ixion...
Not at all. An aircooled pushrod twin , prone to breaking down in strange ways, sounds very familiar. And the electrics can't be any weirder than Alfa Romeo's .
Don't hold your breath for spares back up . A mate has one , waited 6 months for a speedo sender unit or similar while the bike was still under warranty. Don't know if the problem was Guzzi or the Beckhaus empire. I believe he was thinking of selling it. Very well maintained, unthrashed bike if you wanted me to find out more .
I've always thought of you as being more of a Brough Superior man. Something like the Alpine model requiring the rider to dress up like Biggles. If you google JAP you will see an English company is still making the engines and gearboxes for these.
