My afternoon as only confirmed Darwin new bugger all ! Just come in after 2 hours fighting the CR125 that's STILL cluttering my bench up. On going to put back together I discovered some mechanical genius had put the motor back together with a spring and collar missing off the kick start and there's a spacer and gasket missing from the water pump. Then, to cap it all the same (I assume ?) moron, obviously wanting to save money as reused the O rings on the clutch and generator covers. To stop 'em leaking they filled the grooves with silicon bathroom sealant The trouble is, these clowns keep breeding, with a bit more mechanical apptitude bred out with each generation. Don't suppose the collective masses know any way of getting great dollops of still tacky silicone sealant off plastic covers ? Otherwise the whole bloody lot is going in the bin. RANT OVER, AS YOU WERE !!
We used to be able for fix anything with # 8 wire, sometimes when I needed to fix my fence I'd take a bit off my exhaust to do it. Silicon is the new age #8... Apparently the decline has been going on for a while... this bloke wrote: The young people of today think of nothing but themselves. They have no reverence for parents or old age.
