Booked in the Commando for a new rear tyre on Friday morning, not sure of route South yet, if nice day might loop around Mt Ruapehu.... are we going to Stratford as could go up Mt Egmont too.... knock the bastards off..... John, I wil be coming up from the south and ride through to Whanga for Friday evening. Are you going to blast around the mountain on Saturday? ... I will go back down to Stratford on Saturday morning to see the rellies and then back to Whanga again for Saturday night and home on Sunday. The forecast does not look too flash .... we will see!! Rhys, Mark and I are leaving Napier at 9am tomorrow, heading to Taihape via the Gentle Annie, then across the Central Plateau to Taumaranui for lunch with John. Hope to arrive at Whanga around 4 pm. We could meet up with you at Taihape! Saturday we ride to Stratford then tour up to the Mountain House. From there we'll head south and do the loop around the mountain and head back to Whanga for the evening. There will be plenty of time to visit rellies , which I well be doing too. The weather here has cleared after a fatal day of tornadoes. Off to get a tyre in the morning the probably take the skiers route south, I'll text to let you know where I am.....on a 40 year old Brit bike so who knows....

I'm doing the Gentle Annie/Whangamomona next Thursday. I'm looking fwd to a ride report Diesel. I've found lie telling to be endemic when men get together at a pub
