Hi all, just for my own curiosity, how many of our wives or partners like to ride, either pillion or solo. My wife likes to be a pillion.
The lovely Mrs Headroom rides . . . .
Ms Psy likes to pillion
Mrs Diggers has never been on a bike. She says she's not averse to it but it's not high on her list of priorities, shall we say. Max, I assume that's the lovely Mrs Headrooms Buell. Looks very nice. (That's the bike AND Mrs Headroom!)
In the 80s my wife and I did many thousands of miles across Europe on our BMW R100RS however she is now happier in the car and leaves the bike to me.
Yep Diggers, that's Wendy's Buell. She has usually gotten bored with her bikes after the glow of the initial romance has begun to fade, and has moved them on after eighteen months typically. The Buell is the notable exception, having remained a favorite for almost seven years so far . . . .
Nifty looking front brake there Max. I had to really look hard to find one at all.
Sue started on a GPX , couple of years ago we did the ' Cold Kiwi ' We called it the ' Penthouse to the Outhouse ' weekend. Friday night The Chateau Horopito Camping She now rides a Bonnie
My other half used to ride, and work on her bikes. Here she is going for a shake down ride on her Tiger 100 after fitting a cast iron top end and new pistons, all the work done by herself. The only part of me on this bike is the SU carb I fitted. She loved her Trident, and hated me constantly fiddling with the carbs. She got the R65 with the intention of riding again, but as she was only doing a few km a year and we needed to cut down on rego and insurance gave it up (made me pay her money for it).
Mrs Volty had a CB 125 later sold to mate, then to Bender..... never really took to it, preferred riding on the back or in the sidecar.... rarely comes along these days... She mainly drove around in the yellow 2CV and back in the 80's in Straya...
That's a wicked hairdo Volty.
My other half had a GN250 for a while, but is happier been a pillion passenger these days.
The Mrs used to ride, but had a HUGE highside at Taupo and busted herself up. No more riding, though I'm slowly building her a trike.....
love the matching perms voltaire
