Nothing to do with motorcycling but this is a fun watch: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=3586036224408
Just your stock, run of the mill, every day Spanish tractor?
I had a cousin ring me the other day from Australia, Karata, that's on the top left corner. He came to see me last year and said he had ordered a new Superglide, and he's had it since July - he loves it. Says he can ride to the next gas station over 300km away on one tank, doing 140kph and never has to touch the brakes or roll off the throttle. There are lots of reasons I don't want to live in Australia, and that's one of them. ''What are you riding now? Oh, a BMW ? Some guys here ride those. Oh, an Airhead,no, I don't know about BMW's at all. Gravel roads ?!!! We have a lot of dirt roads, but the main roads are made for road trains, they are in perfect condition.'' I have 2 cousins who bought Harleys last year, the other one lives in Florida - another flat place with no corners. My brother in Canada is looking for another bike - I hope he has some taste, but he rode an R100RT and hated it. The NZ side of the family has to keep the standards up.
I've never ridden a Harley....what if I liked it....all the coolness and range of accessories and apparel....
Dont forget tassles

Ahh, but you have, Sir You've ridden one of the best Harleys ever built. A Harley that performs, handles and stops like a Ducati. And sadly, it's a Harley that's no longer made. It's called a Buell . . . .
I said to a guy at HD with a naked Buel that the Harley Motor looked nice......if looks could kill..." ock ey ( he was Scottish) nay a feckin Hardly mota....its a ......[ subtitiles were unavailable]...
Had a drive in one of these today.... 6.3 litre V8. A 1970 Silver Cloud. Looks good from a distance, nice paint over bog and ripples. Last WoF in 2001. You can't really compare it to any other English car, they weren't really into 6 litre V8's. I've driven and worked on plenty of late '60's and early '70's Yank Tanks, it's not on the same planet as a Galaxie or even a Coupe De Ville...I haven't driven a 6 litre '70's Mercedes, but that would be getting close. You can see the aircraft thinking, two twin piston callipers per wheel with separate lines for each, single 4 pots on the rear with split plumbing too, crap brakes, some fudging of readings required. GM Hydramatic trans with electric shift, I've never seen that before...pretty trick for 1970. Actually it had licensed Citroen hydraulic brakes and suspension. Anyway, interesting to get this close to one finally. Oh, and it failed.
Similar setup in my BTFP compliant Navara.
I like the 'wireless' switch/stat.....Lucas were so far ahead of the rest...
Good spotting Volty........................they used to put plenty of spare wires into their circuits, just to confuse the uninitiated....................................... .like the pair in that pic. A 43 year old RR could be showing signs of neglect by now. What did you fail it on Motu?
2001 Alt fuel cert, and fuel in the tank, 2005 tank cert, crappy speedo, some lights and that's about it - last WoF in 2001. Some major work has been done on the diff mount, probably it's last fail. There were some electronic sensors and stuff, not what I'd expect to see on a 1970 car, mainly to do with the suspension...ride height etc.
Rolls Royce on monday, today it was this.... A 1971 Chevelle. Nice, with some sort of big block...not a Rat, something like 402, a factory mistake apparently. That's a Weber on there, didn't know Yanks understood them. Another hydramatic. Nice arse.... So that's 2 early '70's big block V8's this week - what would I like to spend my days cruising in? The Chevelle gets a big black mark for being left hook, but the Rolls is by far the better car to drive.
