i'm making up for the lost weight when i went with v&h pipe!
I've lost weight from my back pocket.

Those planning on using this service........BEWARE.

My diff arrived and I found it had a broken pinion. It was also the incorrect ratio (not as advertised). I contacted the supplier, sending pics of the damage. He initially offered to replace the diff at no charge, including freight. He has since withdrawn that offer, and has refunded my PayPal payment for the diff and the internal freight within the US. This has left me with no redress for the freight cost from Portland to Napier.

I tried to lodge a claim through the Ebay Buyer Protection provisions, but PayPal has blocked that avenue, do to the seller making a "full refund". I'm now left with a $104 stuffed diff.

Just thought I'd share the experience so that others take great care when choosing to save some freight costs. Had I used the seller's freight option to NZ, I wouldn't be out of pocket!

oops... forgot to update here - the parcel did arrive, after some to-and-fro correspondence with NZ Post. Good service overall and should be faster next time now that I'm in their USA comp system (so they say).
I was going to compare prices with USPS but the info on parcel weight/dimensions (that they tell you when they invoice you) is not available on their website after you make the payment... bugger.
I got free shipping inter-USA so I think in the end it was maybe 20-30% cheaper this way.
