I just updated my insurances with Kiwibike and did you know that a Classic is 1985 or earlier, the difference on the same model is around half. I insured the R90/6 and the R100Rt, the R100 is $262.24 valued at $4000, had it been an 85 it would have been a lot less Kiwibike said.
    The R90/6 was $277.24 @ $7000 .
They are with different companies as the R90/6 is a classic but there are no mileage restrictions on either.

I'd be interested to hear other insurance stories.

you should've mentioned first, lm with Swann and it cost me around $220 for the 89 R100GS (insured for 6k) but then all bikes after that are around $100 each works out a huge saving when you have 2 orrrrrrrr 8 bikes insured

P.S those parts are on thier way, they were sent yesterday bud

Cant remember what the MHR is, think it's under $300 for 15K cover with a 10,000km milegae restriction, not much fear of ever going over it

Ratbag and I are both insured with Swann too.
my bike "Coal Burner' is insured for $4.5 K and costs around $254.00 per year, no mileage restrictions, track days only need to be notified and gear for rider is covered up to $3.5K and pillion to $15K. Any and all subsequent bikes, the other two are insured at $100 for # 2 and $70.00 for number 3, all are insured for $4.5K. Gear insurance applies to the other two at the same rates.
I believe this to be good insurance and we've had just the one claim and all was done well and with professional courtesy and respect.
Won't be going away from em , that's for sure.
