Yeah, the diesel options don't seem as attractive as they once were.............. mind you, the cost of diesel must be cheap as you still see trucks sitting idling 15 -20 minutes during freight deliveries.
I went to get a small propane torch and ended up with this instead Already used it for a throttle cable and to fix the speedo in my ute
ooo. cool torch. I like dremel gear. Had thought about one of these to cut/seal edges of melty petrochemical textiles.
i consider myself handy with tools but beats me if i know what all those bits in that dremel box are for... i was able to identify the soldering wire ... but the rest ??
There are 50 ways to set fire to your bike when using a gas torch to solder wires together.
Hot cutting knife, scraper thingy, soldering tip and hot air thingy and something else, already used the hot air thingy to fix my droopy speedo needle in the ute
Hark at 'im, with the technical vocabulary. Clearly a tradesman
Walked into the engineers supplies to buy a few bits & bobs. Walked out with one of those retractable hose reel thingy's . I hate air leads on the floor & I am forever picking them up, or tripping on them. So distracted with my flash toy I got the bits & forgot the bobs. Hate it when that happens.
When we built the new workshop at Ostend Motors we put in a hose real for oxy/acet - no more wheeling the gas plant around the shop. We put one in for water too, but not air. Air at each hoist and front and rear of the shop, and still hoses everywhere.
