He rides all the time. He recently rode from Darwin to Melbourne. Off road. He clocks up the miles on his Ducati and other bikes. He races the Suzuki and a CBR 600. Last year he did several thousand kms off road in the Western USA on a KTM. He puts in the dedication and work with his racing. He will be perfecting his IOM preps with single minded effort. He says he is about 20% of where he wants to be at the moment. He doesn't drink or smoke so they can't have learnt much. Was race prep a subject then?
Different world really. I saw the article on racing the Suzuki with Croz as his pit crew. S'pose in 10 years he might try classic racing I wonder if he would come down to the Vintage Bike Club to speak, they had Mr Buckley a while back.
I don't know how much time he will have at the moment or even before the IOM but I could always ask him. He has an invitation to the old biker farts coffee and bs group to our Sunday morning sessions. He is classic racing now. Only not quite on the same planet as you and Trustme..... Lets get all these other distractions out of the way first and get the IOM download. He is pretty focused on the massive amount of race prep he needs and the character assassination organised by some low rent woman at the Herald who is trying to destroy TNZ.
Trustme went to School ? Cheeky shit , yes I did go to school , what's more the lunch box always returned home empty, unfortunately so did my head. Yes I did go to school with Grant, no, you can't have my autograph.
A cousin of mine sailed around the world a couple of times with him, reckons he's alright.
did he miss the turnoff?
Dalton got a rev up for not knowing how to sail in a harbour...my cousin did a skippers ticket and spent a few years in luxury sailing from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean at the whim of millionaire owners. Now he's got a new Harley and can ride 300km to the next gas station without changing gear or touching the brakes.
Looking at the Harleys on TV tonight, he will be looking for a power socket instead of a gas station. Can't see the gangs getting electric bikes though.
