    Hello BRT followers.
Dom here. I am currently working on a TV show set in the 1970's and we are looking for 4 or 5 motorbikes of that era for use in our final 2 episodes. Triumphs or Nortons would be preferred. And Auckland based also preferred unless you don't mind the travel. If anyone out there has anything like that, or knows anyone with one, that they might possibly be interested in hiring out to be on TV please register your interest in a private message and I will be in touch! Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Domini
P.S. Also feel free to share this status with anyone of interest

Are they going to put 4 cyl Japanese exhaust notes on the bikes?

Like in a real 70's movie?

I think things have moved on since the filming of bikes and actors on towed trailers and jumping dirt bikes the turn into Harleys with random exhaust sounds are gone

That reminds me, Chips is advertised on Jones, the retro tv channel, must watch it and have a laugh, havnt seen it since it was new and Ponch was cool !

Yeah, now we have bikes being ridden like the Ducati in Matrix - much more realistic.

Havnt seen it, are there cars that drive off cliffs and explode too? or that terrible fast and furious shit with 1/4 miles that take two minutes and 300 gear changes

It's not about the bike...it's about the chick.

We were all riding BMWs back then and I was importing Moto Guzzis so keeping to British is a bit narrow. The Japanese bike explosion had well hit and there were dealers on every street. Happy days!

Apart from 2 Jap bikes and an Italian, I only rode British bikes from 1970 to 1980.

In the early 80's we laughed at British Bikes much in the same way we do now at Harleys.

In the early '80's old British bikes were becoming the trendy thing to own. Never being trendy we got out as the prices started to rise....that newspaper from the future was missing again...
