Anyone know how to set this up properly? My CJ has really bad low speed wobble, when I checked it the head bearings were loose and so was the damper. Tightened the bearings up but the damper after being tightened loosens itself off. I managed to sort it out so it doesn't loosen off but fully tight it adds no resistance to the steering. I'm wondering if something is missing? Also looking into trying something else on it, Volkswagen beetle are supposed to have one that works but probably others that will work.
I would say it has been put together wrong, I will have a look at mine and seeif I can post some photos. Does your middle plate connect to the frame? Pics added.
Yeah looks like mine is assembled wrong, I'll check it again tomorrow and see if I can fix it. Thanks for posting the pics!
