    Holy fark. I remember as a lad watching the John Player Specials but didn't realise they had stupid power. Passed the Japanese stuff like they were standing still.

    Remember watching this stuff with my old grandpaw when I were a lad....wot got me interested in bikes in the first place.

    I was at that race years later I met Steve Spray and a dealers launch either Him or Trevor nation , Who ever rode for Oxford products ducati and also Rutter who was doing me mates 900ss , I had a Whitman ducati single at the time ! ( funny bloke was John )
