Took out a native wood pigeon on my first trip on new Zx14. Missus was on the back- feathers everywhere. Thought it was a bad omen, but in hindsight I shouldv'e eaten it. She's into wild game!
Got me a turkey on the Glen Murray road not so long ago.Went straight under the front wheel, moved me and bike sideways about a foot.Managed to get it together before hitting the grass verge and going for a bigger burton.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Well since were all counting let me see....
2. Pukeko's - didn't even feel them (one by car)
1. Hawk - almost highsided me and left a bruise the size of 3 fists across my chest
2. suicidal sparrows - hit helmet
1. suicidal bird slightly bigger than a sparrow
1. Mouse - and he was so cute, I feel sorry I ran him over
Oh and one sheep on 22 but he didn't die just rolled over and got up lol, almost highsided me again...

The other half was riding home one day when a magpie flew across between his chest and the handlebars, hitting him in the process before falling down on his tank! He was trying to ride, slow down as he was nearing our driveway, and flick the madly flapping bird off his tank. Wish I'd seen that!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
Yea I've had a starling to the helmet at about 120k's before. Jarred my neck and cracked my visor. No blood though, just a split second emptying of the bowels all over my lid (including inside of vents). Wasn't happy aye.
Constantly consuming, conquer and devour.
Yeah, I hit a bird once, but luckily I was only doing about 30 km/h, and she was fully clothed so there wasn't much mess.
She made a lot of noise though, and it totally wrecked my fairing.
Actually - I've hit two (2!) girls, but one was on a bike, so I'd classify her as a cyclist.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
