AHHH! BIKE poss buggered, Restricted licence Wednesday

    Hey!

Help needed! slipped the bike over just starting off, it went down lightly on the side (slammed the engine kill switch), so barely any cosmetic damage, picked it up and waited a couple min for the oil to drain back down, then off I go...a couple of hundred meters down the road the aweful noise starts up from where the right exhaust comes up out of the engine, i see exhaust coming out of it. stop the bike quickly, there's oil coming out of the middle of the engine, all over my wheel and a little on my brakes, and heaps of petrol coming out of the carbs.

Long story short - Bike broken, called insurance, some bshit about not coving mechanical stuff, though I'm pretty sure this is all due to the downing...will talk to the proper claims people on tuesday, and george the MC doctor is coming to assess the damage on tuesday....
    ....except...

Got my restricted licence test on wednesday!

What do I do? Does anyone have a middle GN style bike that is WOF standard that they're willing to lend me for the test?:-S Or is there any testing station that lets you borrow them ??free?? I'm a student...

Help would be much appreciated :-S.

(kind of ironic thing is...was just going down to look at trading the bike in at frostie's yard :-SSSS).

Turns out I think I was getting worried over nothing (big) one of the bolts had gone from the exhaust system - george came round today, fixed it up, topped up the oil, and she's good to go :-) Yay, can ride my own bike for the test tomorrow!

Yep good luck, ace the sucker and then get the manual out and read up on how to fix things! oh and lesson ? check the whole bike before riding off after any sort of mishap, sounds like a lotta luck was involved here and thanks should definitely be going to George.
On ya and lets be seeing you out riding soon.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

Yeah I did check it over - didn't notice the bold missing or that there was a small part of the surround on the muffler missing (most was there)...Second time I've used george (used for a pre purchase inspection)...Would go to him for anything service related now, can't speak highly enough of him...and cheap!
