are there any 16, 17 year olds?

    HELLO
I'm new to this forum, and wondering if there are any 16 or 17 year old bikers
in the forum. and what bike they are riding.

I'm 16 and seems that everyone is older than me, just wondering if there is anyone around that age group^^ I have started to learn how to ride, but i don't have a bike yet. any tips would be a great help as well.

    Welcome.

Sorry, I'm a long way from 16, but I think there a quite a few members in that age group around.

Real good to see young faces on the bike scene, I sometimes fear that once us old ones go there won't be any new lunatics (oops, sorry , read responsible motorcycling enthusiasts) to take up the torch.

I'm sure that people far better qualified than I will give you plenty of helful tips and hints. Only thing I'd say is Ride Paranoid. Works for me.

    Welcome and God speed.

Hey man, I started riding road bikes at 13, bought my first bike at 15 and then I joined up Kiwi Biker at 18.

I am not 16 anymore (sadly) but yea, don't be shy around us old folks. I am sure there are quite a few young lads in here about your age.

Best advise I can give you is, wear all the right gear (At least a new helmet, leather gloves, a good protective jacket and sturdy boots). Respect your bike and look after your bike. Take your time with the whole learning process and have shit loads of fun!!

If you are unsure about anything or need some help, let us know.

I am sure there are a few other guys of that age around. I am 20.

I met a guy from Rangitoto College that rode a FXR150. We met at the Leathers meeting, I forgot his username, but he is on this site. There are quite a few other bikes on here that are in Uni, so not much older than you are.

    Good luck...

Good on you for riding and welcome to this wonderful forum.

    Booyah, I've been noticed

Wilkommen to the site I'm 15 and I have a CBR250RR, Cryhavocs 14 and is planning to get a bike when he has the money, and mini_hooks is 15 and is convincing his dad to get him a bike

BTW, Cryhavos is off the site at least untill he gets a bike, I think all the bike talk was killing him
