You have to exaggerate everything dont you?

I saw what you were carrying and you couldn't have built more than 10

Actualy, it was probably the worste bike I've ever owned.
It had a really nasty head shake that both the local shop nor myself could tune out.It eventualy chucked a tank slapper and spat me off, then followed me into the ditch just to make sure I got the message.
Still got a bit of a limp and heaps of scars to remind me of it.
I much perfer the XS,it shakes an rattles, don't go very fast, keeps me in the shed fixing what broke last time, but it doesn't try to kill me.
    Top speed ???Who knows,not me

    Disclamer.
I'd have to say on open Public road, I'd never exceed the speed limit, "speeders are killing us" you know "I cant understand that" sic !

Persionally I'd be serprised if "sorry mate I didnt see you" 's aren't killing more if us!

Occasionally I forget that I'm not in Northern Australian !

I Have seen indicated 299 KPH on closed (for motorsport event) public road, on a standard from shop floor YZF R1 r ! (that's where the speed limiter says no more).

Hmmm, seen 330kph on the speedo of the ZX12 when I owned it a few times, shit it was so bloody easy you couldn't help it (honest Spud,it wasn't my fault it was the bike )
It would also pull 340kph doing a burnout.....

Who do i send my licence too? and when will i get it back?

i have had 313 on the speedo but its not that acurate im thinking, i went past one of those copper trailers a while ago(the one that tell ya speed) the first pass i was doing 60 on my speedo and the trailer flashed up 58, so i went back past at 140 and the trailer flashed 136, so im picking the faster i go the further out the speedo is:spudwhat: , but its one of those things ya only have to do once, to see what ya bike will do.........

OK, I have voted, but I;m not going to say what speed I clicked on.

The bike though was a Suzuki GSX1100SXZ. For those who don't know Suzukis all that well, it was a Katana 1100, wire wheel model.

Poxy old Bandit read 260. Thought SHIT, and slowed down again. Hit 228 on z1000, redlined then realised had another gear! Got a little twitchy at that probably due to short wheelbase or useless rider!

Last year I could only manage a speedo indicated 250kph on my CBR6 down the back straight at Pukekohe, and that was in 6th gear! Looking forward to seeing what my new Bird is capable of at Puke sometime in the not too distant future - I have high expectations!
