Id say its prob the same guys that took mine just a week before in St lukes.
Mine was a Blue Yamaha R6. Seems they may have been doing a run on Asian Sport bikes.

sorry to hear about your bike, and hope they find the bastards!
Im getting really sick of hearing reports of stolen bikes nearly every week or two, what else can we do apart from lock them up? Mine has three locks on it, and its under a concrete stair landing so cannot be lifted up and moved. And its covered up. Hearing this, im seriously considering taking it back home and locking it up as it is but inside a garage with alarm until things quieten down here in auckland.

Bummer dude, will keep an eye out, I doubt there are many 09's around.

    So sorry for your loss.
They probably lifted the bike and took care of the disc lock sometime later. Tow truck springs to mind.
Did you have anything modded or unusual on the bike? Have you got pic's you can post to help id the bike, and chassis no' might help too.

I reckon they're taking them out of the country and they can do this in a very short amount of time. A container can get from here to Oz in a couple of days...

Edit: I haven't had a bike stolen but after some prick attempted to take my bike (I came home to find it had been moved in the garage), I'm feeling for you and I know how infuriating this is!
