    Demerit points

Paying your fine allocates the points to ya totall so wait for the first notice, then the second at a court cost of $30. Then say you never received the notice cause ya moved etc... then the cozzers re issue the ticket and you get to repeat the process. If your up there on demerits and need some to drop off before the next lot have ya walkin, you should get a few months leeway. F T S!

I could stand corrected, but I believe this has been covered, and the demerits are applied, when you pay, but they are dated as of the time of the offence.

I believe people have put the theory into practise... without success

Been ten years since I tried this one bud. Worked 4 me then but loopholes tighten I guess. Anyone else had success in this area?

You are correct, it is the date of the offence that counts. However you can sometimes get a judge who is too old and no longer bright enough to work it out.

As recently as last yr ! With no success it gets back dated as Gremlin stated ! So timing is everything or they could take it from you at the beginning of summer !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

IME - Tis kind of work is annoying trivia for a courtroom and they generally do what the book says according to the 'Clerk of the court'. They make heaps of mistakes. A few years back I got a six month ban changed to six days because they banned me for the wrong offence in error

Ok let me edit this i got it slightly wrong

alright negros, heres the low down.

your on 90 dermerits and you get a ticket. FUDGE is what you say.

it is very important when you get the ticket not to say anything other than your details as legally required, cops will fish for evidence of you admitting guilt. I'm very bad at keeping my mouth shut.

some of your points expire in a few months to a year, you think, if i delay the ticket for a few months, then my points will expire, then the new ones will be added on and i might have a chance of keeping my license.

then simply do not pay. You have 28 days and then 28 days, or 56 total, on the 55th day you write in saying you are going to defend this one in court. court takes flipping forever to go through so you can plead not guilty and it will take about 2- 3 months to get your prelim hearing, this is where you can enter a plea (if pleading guilty you often, but not always get sentenced there and then). You can do this in writing and do not have to show up in court. When entering a not guilty (or gulity if they cant sentence you there) you will get your defended hearing date. This will be at the courts earliest convenience and will be in about 2-3 months, maybe more.

Then you write in asking under the information act for all info about your case, training and calibration of radar etc, and write to court asking for an extension of time so you can get this information.

then go to court and get found guilty (fine + 130$) and hopefully keep your license.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

hmmmm I can't help but wonder why someone would risk ANOTHER ticket if they are already close to maximum points????

A bit of self control wouldn't go astray... LOL

This method has worked for me before quite nicely...I was sitting on 90 demerits got slapped with another that took me over the limit....send the a cheque which is written out for say $5 more then the fine...they will send you back a refund cheque for the overpaid amount...don't cash it and nuff said the demerits wont go on, that is unless you get pulled over again by a who has the authority to take your license off you then and there and if im not mistaken there are not many of those on the beat....

    Hope this helps

wouldn't they just pay for the fine with the cheque and send you back another cheque for the amount that they owe you? How does this work?
