Anyone who's serious about off-road riding (or just seriously enjoys it) should ride Trials whenever they get the chance.

That of course is all about making the 'chance' happen.

And that is easy. There are some really well priced entry level Trials bikes around and they are CHEAP - compared with what you guys are paying for your gear. There are classes for all degrees of skill and you can be any size or build. And you don't have to wear lycra.

So stop talking about it and DO IT!
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

My brother has a trials bike. they are alot of fun and quiet. He takes his down to the skateboard bowl and rips about in that. The hardest thing is the stance. its weird to jump off a dirt bike and a trials bike has the foot pegs really far back. the gears are weird too. the first 3 gears are really low and the last 2 are quite high.

Amd yes you can get them cheap. Bonus is that old trails bikes are generally good condition too. They don't get thrashed the same way MX bikes do.

If you've got kids that are learning, you can get some quite good small electric trials bikes that teach them good skills.
