    Insane road skills

Thought many of you wouldn't have seen this one before.

Some nice riding and road craft here. This respected rider in Japan did the route with 120kmh average speed in a 40 zone.

Do we have roads like that in NZ?

Only watched the first 3 minutes or so. For sure the guy knew how to work his bike around those bends but it didn't impress me in terms of being on a public road with other vehicles around. Anyone out to measure or show off the size of their balls with a potentially lethal weapon where innocent others are in the vicinity doesn't do anything for me. If he'd been on a track or a closed road I'd have enjoyed watching; as it was I couldn't be bothered, knowing the setting.

Sorry, count me down as unimpressed.

It never fails to amaze me that some people can be so easily impressed by fuckwits who have zero consideration for anyone else that shares the road with them.

Agree with Katman 120 AVERAGE in a 40 zone is beyond stupidity. This is another troll right?

Not really road skills. No Indicating when passing, no travelling at a speed able to stop in the distance visible etc.

Would be a blast thought, right up until....

The rider does appear to have a fair bit of skill on a bike, if you want to see pure stupidity on bikes then there are plenty of Youtube movies around with noobs binning a nice sports bike after a rather epic wheelie/stoppie/other stunt fail.

Hum it's ok but I wouldn't call it roadcraft; there are no good examples of safe riding there.

Some dodgy overtakes on the outside. If someone was coming the other way (particularly if they were doing the same thing) he would've been pretty fucked a-la

Got to agree with the other guys; I don't mind fast-ish pace, but if you actually want to test yourself above 80% go to the track; just not worth fucking up on the road.

Hard braking and getting that zx10 right over and holding it very stable too!

It's his life and his bike... If he wants to go that fast and has the skills to then he bloody well can. There are basically no others around for miles. Those of you who want to complain that it's unsafe, get out of the sport bike forum... the last thing we ride these kind of bikes for is to be safe. Shut your complaining because you're really only just jealous if anything and this guy most likely has more skill than anyone on this site. The japanese really do take their riding seriously and are damn good at it.

    Who's the rider btw?
If you want to aspire to that kind of riding in a public place just make sure you only take yourself out when you eventually lose it.
p.s. I'll read in the sports forum if I want ya wanker. (comment based on "the last thing we ride these kind of bikes for is to be safe")

You're all in a state of a denial. What does a 170kg 150hp machine do? Brake hard, tear up corners and obliterate straight lines.

This guy is not doing this on a suburban road or highly populated area... so stop your complaining all you crusty wet blankets!

What worries me is some learner noobie teen on a VT250 will watch this on his Mummies laptop and then go out and ride "just like the cool jap dude".
Then his Mum and Dad will be organising a funeral....
