    I banished the L from my 600.

Last Friday, two weeks after I was initially booked in (first post:http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...d.php?t=100468) I passed to my full license from my learners. The butt flap was dutifully removed as soon as I had the revered piece of paper in my hand.

Many thanks again go out to Les of LTNZ who helped with the exemption process, and followed up with a call an hour after the test to check out how I got on

Well done Staticam, now go enjoy yourself, carefully!
You might have spent serious money on it already, but it being free in the first place makes it kinda special and a Cagiva to boot.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

Woah! You must truly have a way with words to go almost straight to your full (read your linked thread). Good on you though, great to hear that the exemption worked in your favour. Take care and enjoy your bike!

In a nut shell, I got the exemption because I held a learner license for about 20 years, and it’s really difficult to get insurance on a friends bike for just a couple of weeks.

    Congrats,
Now you just need to get some gear for the wife, and ditch that cage all together.
I finally got my knee down! …and my shoulder …and my pillion’s head.

Oops, I was reading between the lines again. I thought you said get more gear, ditch the wife, live in a cave.
