    Who suffers from GAS?

Who here suffers from G.A.S??? (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)

    You know who you are.

You can't help yourself, and just have to buy something every time you go into a bike store, even if you just went for a browse.

    I'm reformed.

    No it's true.

I have stopped going into bike shops, unless it's an absolute must.

I've gotta stop being seen in those bloody bike stores!

Not really, although I do suffer from not being able to turf stuff. I have two pairs of old bike boots in the cupboard, numerous pairs of gloves (although most of them have been worn a few times since being discarded), an AGV helmet I've kept in the vain hope that one of my MutantTroglodyteSpawn will one day play pillion again, a pair of leather trou that are too tight to wear without discomfort, a serviceable (and occasionally worn) Teknic jacket, and two sets of wet-weather gear.
Nothing compared to the gargre - it's stuffed full of Useful Stuff. I should really catalog it and chuck it on TardMe or in the bin...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
