DUCATI ------- A real bike in a sea of shit!
Nice! My Bro-in-Law built something similar back in the '70's using a Matchless 500 motor. He used it for motocross and as long as he had a long enough downhill to bump-start it - the compression was such that it had to be bump-started in top gear - it was a rocket! Somewhat short-lived rocket though...
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
It was more likely built as a scrambler in the '60's - converting a rigid or plunger to swingarm was pretty common. It has the later swingarm gearbox....and without a better look,I reckon those are the bigger BB barrels, rather than the smaller finned ZB or ealier for 1950.
But I'd certainly have it...if he moved the decimal point one place to the left.
