Cop bike on Southern Motorway today

This made me laugh, driving south on the southern motorway this morning, a cop on a bike had pulled someone over on a Blue and White Gixer and they were both crouched down looking at the rear wheel of the cop bike, comparing chicken strips perhaps??

Possibly attempting to warm up from the radiant heat of the exhaust?

Pity you didnt get a photo! That would make a great caption contest.

Could be the Gixer Rider was pointing out the flat rear tyre on said officers bike in an attempt to avoid a nice piece of paper.

Maybe the cop pulled him over for worn tyres, and the gixxer rider was showing that they were no more worn then his? Again .... probably comparing chicken strips ... though I am quite certain the cop bike would have bigger chicken strips then the gixxer!!

Had occasion to 'check' a cop bike some time ago. It was fitted with Z6s and the rear was down to the cords in the middle. The chicken strips would have been close to 30mm. He assured me his 'weekend' bike didn't look like that...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Perhaps he had a flat, and the gixxer rider was showing him how to use his puncture repair kit?

The Gixxer rider was probably trying to fix the BMW gearbox........
