I'm about half way throught a strip down and rebuild clean up of a 1983 vt500c Honda Sahdow there dos'nt seem to be to many of these around, has anyone out there own or owned one of these would it be worth a full resto.

is this a bike you restored yourself, its quite something. Have you had anything to do with polishing alloy on bikes and then sealing it somehow by chance.

No,it's not mine - but I saw it in another forum just before I read your post....so thought you might like to see what can be done.If I had a VT (and I've given it some thought) I'd make a streettracker - make the Ascot even more Ascot.
