You are heaps tall enough for anything you want.
Just remember its a bike.
Don't park nose in to the kerb on a steep slope.
When you stop at a corner check for a pothole before you stick your foot in it.
Leave it on the side stand when you hop on - helps you get on without holding the bike up.
Take a camera so you can send us pics when you get it wrong.
Above all, have fun.
David must play fair with the other kids, even the idiots.
I would agree with a lot of what is on here, try bikes out. I do not think it is just about your height but it is also about tank size. I am just about 5ft 7 and have found that having short legs affects which bikes I am most comfortable with. I am riding a GN250 at the mo and will look for a sports bike that I feel safe on once I have got some decent experience.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here. QWQ
Don't be a pussy - if my girlfriend can ride a GSXR1000 than you can (and she's 5'5). She can touch the ground and rides it well.
You don't need to be flat footed when sitting on a bike. However, the R1's are taller, so you will need to think about what kind of bike you want to ride. But there are plenty out there.
Have fun choosing one![]()
WISDOM IS KNOWING KARMA REALLY CAN'T GET YOU.

SPEED KILLS, BUT YOU GET THERE FASTER
DILLIGAF = Does it look like I give a FUCK - Hell no!
You will be fine.. If I am able to touch the ground on the likes of a GSXR750 and a Gladius you will def be able to. (Im about 5'3")
