Unhappy Who is going to own up to the attempted runner?

I saw somebody on a late model yellow and black GSX-R (600?) get pulled on SH1 in Tokoroa at about 1115 this morning. He’d clearly upset the police an awful lot because there was the local dog handler’s car with lights ablaze waiting for him at a no parking spot and a couple of minutes later, the bike appears from the north with the Highway Patrol in pursuit. I guess the second car was a powerful incentive to face the consequences as he pulled over at that stage. Shouldn’t pre-judge the event but speeding on SH1 in the Waikato is not smart.

Don’t think it was you Cajun as I don’t remember so much black on your machine!

Definitely not my green Kawasaki... now this one I want to hear the full story on!

That's the problem with doin runners on SH1, you need to know the side roads, otherwise you might as well just have the cops waiting at the gas stations on SH1 for the next 200kms...

Funny how radio waves are so much faster than any known motorcycle...

Yeah... and with that in mind it'd sure be cheaper and easier to stop sooner rather than later.

There's a much better way to avoid getting caught... try obeying the law.... (at least I've been told it works)

    I dunno - seen the 05 Gixxers?

I reckon the rider was probably just trying his/her luck and decided he/she wasn't having the success they'd hoped for and didn't really want to take any more risks so it was time to cut their losses.

Speeding anywhere on SH1 or 2 isn't smart for mine.
