Jono, get your head outta ya butt.....it's just not practical.
    I don't believe I deserved that flame?

    1) I have absolutely no love for the council and their ticketing policies, which if you had read this thread you would understand.

    2) I said that they could easily do this if they wanted to, not that they should or were going to

    3) it IS practical, and would only take a minor change in procedure and hand-held ticket machine software to implement, they already track tickets by number, tying that to a license plate would be easy.

Do us all a favor and calm down a little before pressing submit, please.

Hook, line, sinker, rod & reel Jono....no flame intended.

I understand the third point you make about tying the plate number to each ticket..........modern technology(aka "white mans magic") is great.

But just for practicality sake, how much time would be taken up for every cars licence plate number to be noted by the "parking police" and then subtract that from thier main task of issuing fines for expired tickets........and zipping from car to car marking tyres.

    ....still not practical I say.

So, to make this work, employ MORE "parking police".......haha....I don't think the extra revenue would cover even half their wages..........still not practical I say....

........christ...NOW I'm starting to sound like I'm working for the council...

BTW Jono, I am always calm when I click submit............that's why I only told you to "take your head outa ya butt" and not your arse
Fuck with Yoda, Die you will!!
