    great bike.

the whole gearbox etc got new bearings and seals due to the clutch basket back plate breaking which appears to be due to the previous owner grinding off the rivets, using a aftermarket basket, then re welding the plate back in place causing weak points. the mains and crank seals were a 'might as well while im there' thing, and the rest is pretty much just wear and tear.

it gets ridden fairly hard so its all to be expected

Well I'm officially able to post crap on this thread: I just changed my own oil, cleaned the air filter, tightened the chain and made my bike all shiney and I did 99% of it myself!!

oh yeah? how did ya crack it (both times)? the plan is to replace it but it has to come from Austria so will take ages and my bro wants it for the weekend. Looking into other options like aftermarket ones or hopefully a secondhand but unused KTM hard parts CNC machined super strong set
