yea you don't hafta get an expensive bike for thrilling ride.. just as long as its in good condition.. but if you're looking for a good fast 4 inline get a ZXR 250,GSXR 250, gsx 250 across, CBR 250, hornet 250, bandit 250, zeal 250... i my self was looking in that range until i found my hornet :P my white princess.. somewhere around 3-5k would be enough to get 1 of these bikes... the shops just rips u off... but they have a guarantee though for quality... but u can never get wrong with hornets though :P....

Get someone who you respect who knows how to teach and stay off the road until you get a decent skillset in braking, turning, throttle and clutch control and minimum. A ZXR or GSXR 250 will be 10x the bike you can handle for a long time yet.

Congrats.. GNs are good learner bikes. I'll be looking to sell mine in a few weeks hopefully... lol, nah will need to hold on to it for a bit while I save for a new baby but they are good bikes to learn on. Do get a bit bored of them after a while though.

Cheers for the comment cowboyz, in regards to the "dropping it initially" comment was in regards to dropping my nads before taking the test aye lol.

Yeah fair enough comment though we do all have to die one day, however from gathering as much info as I can from the site I do know that safety is the most important aspect of riding and hence trying to be as cautious as I possibly can once I get riding.

    Cheers

Tru that dude! Good condition is what I'm after and also reliable too. My heart is set on a CBR for some strange reason but am still considering the GN till i build up more confidence on the roads. The CBR I was definitely considering as I will have to hold onto it till I've passed my restricted But, there is also the hornet to take into consideration also

Yup GN's definitely cool, been looking at Red Baron with my cuz and he's considering the GN too. Definitely comfy to ride as I found completing my BHS. Let us know how you get on with your new baby
