im not impatient tho![]()
Well...this thread wasn't going too well for you for a start, but hasn't turned out too bad in the end.
...she took the KT, and left me the Buell to ride....(Blues Brothers)
thats what i was thinking
Dude or dudette that your following is probably thinking, 'what the fuck is this clown attatched to my bumper going to do' 'why won't he back off... fuck he's still there... jeez'
my point: attention is on the tail gater and not on the road in front, hence slowing down.
Back off a bit. Then do your thing when you get a chance.
yea true but i tend to not tail gate as id rather not end up on there boot if they stop quicker than i can react and stop
Hmm, patience is a virtue which all motorists would be better off developing. A great many accidents are initiated by an impatient impulse - regardless of number of wheels. Motorcyclists are often encouraged, tacitly and overtly, to barge their way around anyone getting in their way - noobs can sometimes feel the pressure to "be a real biker" and rip their way past all sorts of obstacles (mainly the sort with 4 wheels). But a proper "real" rider will adapt and ride according to each situation, even if that means reining in the throttle and accepting that your "blast" might turn more into a "pootle". Ride in a way to live long enough to enjoy both!
i love nothing more than getting stuck behind a slower vehicle [not including cattle trucks!!] cos it forces me to sit back and enjoy the ride. first time i went down south i got stuck behind a camper... best way to see the other island for the first time.
