hell yeah Alarumba, but I'm still with the 03/04 model over the 05, the 05 has gone soft all over..
And TS - the ZX6R is the one to go for. 6R = 636 where as 6RR is 599cc. How many people are going to be racing theirs? So might as well go for the extra cc..
doesnt the RR have a damper and better suspension control, and a more modified engine? (but lowerer Bore/CC)..Originally Posted by bugjuice

Find a chick who’s just been dumped and comfort her by massaging her shoulders, and soon, she’ll be massaging your prostate.
I tend to think the CBR600RR is the best looking 600 and the ZXR600RR (not 636) is the wickedest
The 2005 model is a new kettle of fish, but I was told that the 2003/4 R and RRs followed each other down the production line, but with 2 differences - 37cc's and stickers to show it.. As far as I'm aware, the suspension etc is the same. I've had my 04 next to an 04 RR and they looked the same. No dampers, same forks, same rear shock etc.. The other thing the RR has over the R is that Kawasaki make race parts for the RR (cams, crankshaft, pistons, pipes etc etc) for the race peeps out there, where as the 636 doesn't. Some bits fit, but aren't really meant to. So the extra 37cc the R has over the RR is mainly just that, else they're the same.Originally Posted by John
Now for the 2005 bikes, there's a list that goes on for ever between the changes. Most obvious is the RR has full coloured farings, where as the 636 'borrows' farings from the ZX10. Same for the brakes, shocks (I think) and a few other bits. The RR is thee 600 race bike for Kawa, where as the 636 is the 'giant leap for Kawa-kind' between the racing 600 and the racing 1000 that's restricted for tarmac terrorists..
I do quite like the CBR600RR, very angular and mean/sharp looking, but read a few places that it's a touch over-weight and under-powered, but I'm real sure I know it doesn't hang around.. As for the ZX, what's the diff between the RR and 636 that would make one wicked and the other not?Originally Posted by wkid_one
