cheers for the coffee Mike got here just after 9, Ruralman had dinner cooked, looks like the Princess has her kitchen bitch sorted
had a dry run apart from two small showers that didn't wet the visor but did get snow going over the top it was settling on the ground but not on the road

Deja vu, didn't you post a post pretty much exactly like this sometime in the last two months?
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Right - for that remark, next time it will be ice cubes and protein pills !!!

We had 2 goes at getting home today - the first one got stopped by the cops stopping traffic going up the Cavisham hill until it got gritted so went back to the Princess's place for another coffee. Started heading down her drive and thought - whoa this is not good. The Pajero did stop fortunately or there may have been some serious house alterations (Honey - about that conservatory you talked about.......), but wouldn't back out even with the diff locks in. So we waited a bit, had another coffee while there was a bit of a thaw and then when it looked like it was all going to turn to shit again decided to have another go. Spread some salt around and this did the trick. Shrek left about 20 minutes after me and had a couple of moments getting down the first hill.
I got stopped again at the start of SH8 because some truck had jack-knifed and blocked the Manuka Gorge - so went back to Milton to flag Shrek down.
He turns up looking like the Michelin man and with cold wet feet.
We went and had a pizza and a couple of coffees and then headed on - plan B was we both came here if the roads and weather looked like that was sensible - but the last I saw of Shrek was him heading into the distance past the turn off to my place (I guess my cooking wasn't that good after all!!) so hopefully he got safely to Roxburgh or Alex or wherever.
Had about 6 inches of snow here and some hungry animals wondering where the fk I was and why their balage was late.......
