Couldn't get much wetter than it was today thats for sure. Daff reckons another 1/2 hour and the rivers would have been impassable. Conditions where tough but not stupidly silly. Daff said it doesn't get much harder in there.

That was my first go at wires and we went around Twice! (they scared us off doing the gutbuster in those conditions). Had been pissing down the whole time and the second time around Wires conditions where much worse with rivers running down all the ruts. Getting a bit knackered second time round so we bypassed that bog. I think?? One of the boys said first time they did the loop it took 3 hours. We did 1hour 20 then again for a total of about 2 hours 45 in my gauge. That of coarse is only when the wheel is turning so doesn't include the 20 very hard mins pulling my Husaberg mates bike outa a bog because he spotted an EASY route LOL!!! (Shit man thats much tougher than the riding!) And all the other pauses to help out. Got back to the carpark and Daff and the three that went with him only came in about 20 mins after we got back the second time around, so we got nearly as much riding in, so thats good for our first time out.

The bike went bloody marvelous I'm fricken wrapped in it!! I made it round twice which I'm pleased with. Rode much better second time round in worse conditions. Was it a good day shit yes!! Goin back to do the gut buster when the scary leave your bike behind stories because of the rivers are over!

Yeh thats me in the vid thought I'd try the middle but my front hit the vertical face on the other side and just stopped. Trust rupe to get my worst moment, AND laugh in the background!! LOL!!! Did ya see how deep that muddy water was!! Freckin good fun team effort I reckon! So glad I went!!

Thanks a bunch Daff for showing the seven of us round the wires track some for our first time!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

i tend to get carried away in races, work my way up, push too hard then dnf. Either that or bike failure.

I didnt really try to keep up with him, He was just stuck in the rock garden. Who knows, he could have had a rest stop before i caught him

Didn't do the gutbuster as was put off by all the talk of big rivers, leaving bikes till the next day, plus we were really cold. So just did the wires loop twice, save it till next time. That was Reckless and the guy I took that got stuck in that sinking silt, horrible stuff, not too bad when people are there to help pull the bike out.

Got a couple of little video clips of that deep bog, will put them up in a bit.
    Damn wish I went now!
Although had a good time at sandpit with Climntie and kids
next time you go rupecopp/reckless pleae pm me again.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

Probably seems a bit cruel putting that vid of you up Rick, but is was the second time round, and deeper. Anyone thinking they could just snot through it would have been wrong, you rode really well mate to get through some tough bits on that second time, even if you were on a shitty old KTM!

lol, only winding you up, it's a great little bike.

Only got those two I'm affraid, as only remembered I had it after the first loop. Tried to borrow cheese's helmet cam but he ignored my request!

Sounds like it was that quick sand silty shit. Steve went in there the first lap and it sucked, think you did aswell can't really remember.
