My lawn mower has better suspension, and probably better styling also.
It's easy to go to isolated places on KLR's. Everybody leaves the countryside when they see the hideous beast coming

    yeah what a load.............

the reason they use it in the military is that you cannot trust a trigger monkey with a buell XB12X or BMW R1200GS, and the KLR is cheap.

had an 87 KLR, but sold it and got an old BMW R100RT because the BMW tourer is better off road and on

Bah, back in the 80s some yank fitted an IHI turbo to a R100GS motor. Power was well north of 120hp. The only other thing I can remember was the frame had to braced for the power hike.

There's a guy on thumpertalk who got bored and nitrous'ss's'd his DR650.

Set it to give 20hp extra on a push of the horn.

Have I missed some big event on the KLR like the long way around?
A R12GS can do some damage if a twat rides it = extra costs for military.

    Mate that was awesome.

I loved the 40 sec power wheelie & note that with all that sleek trick luggage system it didn't bottom out once. Those lites- my God those Lites- on the crash bars, could you believe it - WOW that guy's an ideas man!!

Power! Man I didn't know I was sitting atop such a carnivorous beast. Every day & in every way Gonzo gets better & better

Phew I'd better do some Taichi - really peaking at the moment...
