    I'm a dumb arse: Indicators

I've always found it annoying that on a bike when you indicate you have to flick the indicator back to the middle to turn it off. Why can't they have a simpler system like a car.

Then I was thinking, I can push the indicator button in on my bike (Honda CBR), why can't that just be used to turn it off.
Low and behold, I try it out, and sure enough, it does turn the indicator off. No more trying to flick it back to the middle position without going to far and turning the indicator on in the other direction.

What a dumb arse. Have you got any dumb arse moments?

    Your not wrong.

Hmm, try getting 4 or 5 people to give you a push start, because your bike wont start, and after a few goes someone suggests you try the killswitch.
Only happened once, but it was in front of the whole ATNR.
Now its the 1st thing i check.

You guys should get the internet. Lots of good info on the internet......... Or read your bikes owners manual...... Or if it came with no owners manual look for a pdf owners manual on the net....... There is more to the internet than KB thank god.

Push starting a quad in the pits at a flat-track event, once we got up to speed I jumped on the seat and dropped the clutch, managed to roll over the seat and off the bike, upside down, face into the mud, back wheel runs right over top of me.

I get to my feet to the sound of dozens of people laughing like they have never laughed before, and probably since.

Its surprising how many of my stories end with self-injury and public humiliation.

I'm pretty sure everyone has had funny and/or dumb ass moments on a bike. If they say no than they're a liar!
