as a first bike it should be gixxer - as its more rider friendly
R6 is too tiny, and lacks low end so anyone who is heavier than 180lbs should consider Gixxer.

none of the above
a few options missing
Ducati being one of them
Hey mate just my opinion, I like the gsxr beter then the other two. Yam is too race orientated and dont like the new look kawa. Plus with the new gsxr you get to play with different maps at the flick of your fingerBut i ride a buell so you know
![]()
new tire already
just a random question what is the Pass switch on some bikes for ???? does it drop the bike down a gear or somthink
na..its just for flashing your light...i.e when you press it..changes your headlight to highbeam..and when you let go..the high beam goes off..so just for flashing ppl...and hmm..do they make anymore V4 600s? ><..and i agree..r6 abit too race orriented eh..but where do you guys get all this spare cash ><
The R6 looks good . The CBR600RR handles well and has reasonable mid range. The new 09 ZX6R with the big piston forks handles much better and is easier to use. The GSX is bigger and more road orientated. Ride them all and see which one suites your riding style best. You will be hard pushed to reach the limit of any of the above bikes. Good luck and have fun.
new kawa hands down atm
MFSC lives on!
Have you test ridden all 3? Hope ya not going to buy a bike based solely on this thread! But out all those 3 i would get the Triumph![]()
What year? Are you comparing brand new 2009 models or second hand?
EDIT: See you mean new.. Well go ride the bloody things. You'll be surprised how different yet the same they all are. If you can't them apart after riding them buy the one you think looks best.
ZX6 for me.

+1 for the triumph, try a street triple or daytona 675. you wont regret it. i was tossing up between what 600 to get till i rode the street triple, i couldnt even think of the others after that
If practive makes perfect, but no bodys perfect then why practice?
The Honda would most likely have better build quality through and through - and it would need it since it's expected to be arse raped on a daily basis....
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
