    US trooper says 'too bad'...

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7267447/?GT1=6305

In no way am I trying to incite an anti-police feeling here, but after I read this it shocked me that someone who is an 18yr veteran could say something like that. Maybe there is more to the story, maybe the guys were known by the cop and had history but he is a professional who has a duty to perform. Oh well, the 15 day suspension would have taught him...

[edit] Maybe this should've gone in 'Rave On' but it is m/c related. If a Mod wants to move it go for it.

and he only gets a 15 day suspension? He needs to be banned for a year, followed by a good kicks in the balls!

Maybe he'd just finished handling a number of 911 calls relating to some nutcase riding a M/C like a mad thing and said just the first thing that popped into his head? (PT)

Sounds like someone who needs a break from the job though.

Sounds like someone who has no right manning the 911 line in the first place. What a callous prick. If I had been the one spoken to like that about a member of my family, I'd want to sue the officer for Mental Anguish - fortunately they are in the USA and could probably do so if they so desired.

I don't really care what sort of day the cop was having or whether his boyfriend had slapped his hand away the previous night, his behaviousr was totally uncalled for. I have shit days or there are specific Lusers I do not like, but I am expected to be polite and respectful on the phone (IT Hell Desk) at all times.

The story is proof you can have eighteen years' experience and learn nothing.

Or make him share a room with WINJA or Mikey et al.....

He'd top himself within 5 minutes of being put in the room.

But did they send a taxi??
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
