    thanks for all the info, really helpful. Sounds like a trip over before i make any real plans is in order. was thinking of moving to Auckland. I'll have my degree in teaching so should hopefully find a job.
    But it sounds like it has everything to offer! Biking is my life and couldnt live without it so need to have good roads to play on!

    Well as a fellow educator to be, teaching is a honourable profession, fraught with the passions and pitfalls of trying to inculcate the A,B,Cs and 1,2,3s. I hope you persist and join the ranks of the thin line trying to stem the under-educated babarian hordes over-running civilised society!

    If you are a 'Cosmopolitan City Sort of Person', then Auckland is the only place to be. It doesn't get as hot as CHCH or WELLY, but then it doesn't get as cold either. If you are a 'Cafe Society' middle classed wine drinker, then WELLY it is

    Best just to see where you can get work.
